CBD Purple Kush 1:1 x Dakar Haze F4
Some of my first modern autoflowers was a mix ratio THC:CBD plant; CannaCheese. I’ve always been interested in other cannabinoids and thanks to a tip off from Stony from Reserva Privida Automatica I was able to win a pack of Aeque Genetics CBD Purple Kush 1:1 from a seed raffle. I thoroughly enjoyed the taste which reminded me of traditional Kush like flavours. The effects were very balanced and medicinal, in particular, aiding relief from muscular skeletal discomfort/pain.
The Dakar Haze F4 parent was one from 30 of the testers I grew before releasing the F4 Fems. I reversed a few that I liked the looks of. I chose her based on structure, size, vigor and aroma. There was some earthy tones I wanted to explore more. She was also incredibly dark. I left a few branches of flowers untouched on each potential pollen donor and didn’t reverse them, so I could see how she would typically look and smell. I could really narrow down what I was looking for. What ended up being the donor was the same trichome riddled flowers that Dakar Haze is becoming known for in our wee community!
The resulting F1 has been a treat to grow! Incredibly dark flowers that during the fade stand out even more! The flowers taste very sweet/earthy to me, and the texture feels almost greasy. The effects are nicely a balanced relaxed high with the uplifting buzz from Dakar Haze not being too overpowering. Down the line I’d like to get the flowers tested and see what the ratio is.
